My first experience with a figma

Max Factory’s Takamachi Nanoha figma… Not bad, but not great either. I’m satisfied, but not really that impressed.

$200 well spent

No regrets on this purchase! Best $200 I’ve in a long time. The Wii’s box and manuals and all that jazz weren’t there, but the dude I bought it from said he was going to look for them for me. Either way, Wii console, 4 games (5 if you include Wii Play), nunchuck, and a remote charger for $200, is money well spent. I just need to pick up Fire Emblem and Mario Galaxy in the coming weeks and I’m good to go.

Money well spent. A nice poster for the album Kuroneko to Tsuki Kikyu wo Meguru Bouken, which is probably my favorite of her albums.

The good, the bad, and the ugly of Movic’s Subaru Nakajima

There is a lot good, a lot bad, and a fair amount of ugly with this figure. Which each StrikerS figure that Movic has released, they’ve gone down in quality, but to varying degree. Nanoha wasn’t as bad as the promo shots, but the pose was boring. Fate’s face was way off, but the rest of the figure was nicely sculpted (except the base, which was horrible… keep reading…). Subaru has a great pose, but her face was hit with an ugly stick. I can only pray that Movic hires a dozen more QA team members when the finally mass produce their Teana figure in the spring.
