If what? If Kotori was the best character to over come out of Da Capo? If Kotori was awesome beyond belief? If Kotori deserved her own happiness? Those were not hypothetical my friends. Those were cold, hard fact.
D.C.I.F. Da Capo If Part I OVA Announced
Tentatively titled video anime episode to feature Kotori Shirakawa (Yui Horie)
On December 25, the Japanese media distributor King Records will be shipping a DVD Box that will include the entire first D.C. ~Da Capo~ anime series (2003) and a new, tentatively titled D.C.I.F. Da Capo If Part I OVA episode. The new OVA will feature the popular character Kotori Shirakawa (Yui Horie) as the main character.
There were already four DVD boxes released between 2003 and 2004 for the original D.C. ~Da Capo~ anime series, but the upcoming box set will collect the complete series in one package. The 2003 anime series adapted the D.C. ~Da Capo~ adult romance adventure game for television audiences, and several more anime series have since continued the franchise.
I like these alternate storyline OVA’s, like the KimiNozo’s Next Season OVA. Really, why not give popular characters more screen time and/or their own alternate endings? The scenarios have already been written in the games, so might as well give it the full motion and sound treatment. And what better character to give an OVA to than Kotori? First-ballot harem member. Seriously, the “If” OVA could be 30 minutes of Kotori going shopping and visiting the library with nothing coming out of Horie Yui’s mouth other than giggles and sighs and I’d be all over it. Personally, I’d like a D.C.S.S. plot development where Nemu never came back…
Then Yoshiyuki will never be, cause A. Aesia(?) will never go crazy, fully impacting Sakura abotu the new MAgic Tree, and also, I read that Yoshiyuki was the son Nemu and Junichi never had so… yeah… SPOILER and I think Nemu’s kinda dead… explainig the freaking out about cleaning a room, and the grave…
Yoshiyuki would be possible too, given that he was only a wish =O

Fully agree. Or at least return only when Kotori is in a position to mount a credible assault.
Oh! So both Shirakawa’s are getting the “IF” treatment! ^_^ I’m sooo sold!
Well, with that alternate storyline, JunichixNemu never happens, which means… no Yume, Otome or Yoshiyuki. And more importantly, no Nanaka. Probably
