SONIC DRIVE! ::drools::
Damnit Alter, why do you have to be awesome? They’re really going all out with these StrikerS figures, and it’s almost like my hopes for certain figures are coming true. Hayate? Check. Signum and/or Vita? Check and check. And Sonic Form Fate? CHECK!
Updated 8/3: Additional photos from How a Girl Figures.
Can’t really tell much without any paint, but the supposed pose looks absolutely great, Riot Zanber and all. The first Alter Fate was epic, so I expect no less from this new one. This Sonic Form figure looks a lot like the first Alter Fate actually, with the way her legs are posed (one bent, one straight) and the way the hair is flowing backwards.
I’m surprised Teana is getting the nod next. Is Alter pulling names out of a hat? Reinforce, Vita, Vita, Signum, Hayate, and then Teana, and then Fate? I would have thought Subaru and Nanoha would make appearance before them. Those two are the main characters after all… But at the same time it bodes well for those of us quietly hoping for a Caro and/or Shamal figure. It remains to be seen if Alter does dish out a StrikerS Nanoha (Exceed Mode please) and a Subaru, but the odds are in favor of yes. So I quietly hold out hope for Caro, Shamal, and, the unlikely one, Ginga.
I was actually quite impressed with Movic’s Teana figure, but Alter’s blows it away.
And lastly, a Hayate figma! I still don’t like figmas in general, but I do enjoy my Nanoha figma. Still sitting around waiting for HLJ to mail me my Fate figma, so I can take naughty friendship photos of her and and Nanoha. I’m less impressed with this Hayate figma, compared to Nanoha and Fate. The joints on her legs don’t look right to me for some reason. Also, her head looks a bit odd, but there should be another face to toss on there instead.

So many figures… So little money T_T
@Hirvine: It’s always had a sizable following, but really exploded with StrikerS. That actually surprised me considering that StrikerS was nowhere as good as either of the first 2 seasons. I think the fans were always there, but there wasn’t much to talk about until StrikerS was revealed because the epilogue in A’s really felt like the end of it (at least to me). Nanoha is one of the few series that I consider any news to be good news.
And now with a “1st” movie, there will definitely be more news to read and more stuff to blow money on.
Nowadays I find so much Nanoha releases, pre-order here, order there. I thought the affection would end within a few months after StrikerS. Luckily, I must say, Nanoha lives on.
These days my ears blows off, reading Nanoha on any anime blogs, finding more fans than I thought Nanoha had.
