Lucky Star manga licensed

Any news that gives me an excuse to throw up an image of Tsukasa is good news.

Bandai Entertainment Licenses Lucky Star Manga

Kagami Yoshimizu’s inspiration for slice-of-life comedy anime series

The North American anime and manga distributor Bandai Entertainment has announced at its Comic-Con International panel today it licensed Lucky Star, Kagami Yoshimizu’s four-panel manga that inspired the slice-of-life comedy anime of the same name.

I don’t think there has been an 4koma-based anime where I didn’t end up enjoying the original material, and I really don’t expect any less from Lucky Star. Pretty excited over the news actually because I’ve been wanting to read the Lucky Star manga. It’s great to see Lucky Star’s popularity help get this manga title over here.

  • LOL! I love how people are PO'd at KyoAni for milking things and dragging things out. I said that back in 2007 and people gave me crap! ... 1 hour ago
