A foolhardy folly of a foolish statement by an equally foolishly foohardy fool.
I’ve had Trials and Tribulations in my possession since the day it was released for the DS back in October and played through about half of it. When I Apollo Justice was released earlier this year, I started playing Trials and Tribulations again so I could move onto Apollo Justice, but never got back to playing it until this past weekend.
And boy am I hooked on it.
Without question Trials & Tribulations has been the best of the Phoenix Wright trilogy. I am enjoying it so much that some of the momentum and excitement over Apollo Justice I had has diminished (All I need is an Ema Skye pick me up). Specifically, I am getting a complete kick out of the final trial of the game and how it is weaving together characters ands events from the previous 2 games, making these games really feel like a full story and not just a trilogy of games. I am probably about halfway through the last case, but I feel like everything I need to know will get revealed. DL-6, Mia’s old cases, Edgeworth’s past, Godot’s past, Franziska’s return, what happened to Misty Fey, Maya falling in the well again, Pearl’s family, and some self-reflection from Phoenix himself… and meshed together Code Geass style and present in the final case. While it is true a lot of stuff is coming up that’s shocking and at the same time a bit absurd (i.e., Code Geass style), it is doing a great job of brining back important moments in the Phoenix Wright universe. I really couldn’t ask for a better final case.
Unfortauntely, because of the game, I haven’t got much done since Friday… _|-|O… Ahh summer… Nothing says summer like baseball, barbecue, re-watching Air, and catching up on video games.

“And boy am I hooked on it.”
oh, boy been there… i played the game for three days… i think i forgot to eat during that time…
