Good Smile Company 1/8 Mitsuki

Ugh… Mitsuki…
I own Good Smile Company’s Haruka figure, so it would make sense to pick up Mitsuki as well… but then I remember that this is Mitsuki… It is not that I hate loathe despise dislike her or anything, but out of every Kiminozo character out there, she is my least favorite.
Truthfully, the figure does not look too shabby. However, GSC’s Haruka also look good in the promotional shots, but when I eventually received mine, I was pretty underwhelmed by it. It was definitely a nice figure, but lack of detail in places and a face that missed ever-so-slightly took away from it. It remains to be seen how PVC Mitsuki turns out, but based on Haruka’s figure, I am not expecting much. Mitsuki does look more enticing than Haruka did (in terms of the pose), but I would have preferred older Mitsuki (i.e., shorter hair) instead. We got older Haruka, why not older Mitsuki? The long pony tail is killing me. ;__;
The figure is out in September and retailing at 5500 yen (1000 yen more than Haruka was a year ago). I am undecided as to whether or not I would pick this one up, though I am leaning towards the “nay” side as of now. If anything, I would get it for the sole reason of having both of GSC Kiminozo figures. Lousy reasoning really. Now if a good Akane figure were ever done…

Definitely in my ‘get list’ because of her striking pose. After re-watching kimi, i’ve become more emotionally attached to her than ever before.
