Alter 1/7 Vitas

Yes, plural.

Looks like there was more that I originally thought! Standard Vita and Unison form. From the promo shots, it looks like Unison Vita comes equipped with Graf Eisen in Gigant Form and standard Vita comes with Graf Eisen in Zerstorung Form. Seems like Eisen also comes in regular Hammer Form as well.

Both look absolutely fabulous! Paint, pose, face, armed devices… all looks great. You can almost hear, “Destruction Hammer” being whispered. My only questions are regarding what the base will look like. I did not really like how Movic handled the Belka circle/triangle on their Subaru figure, but we will see what they do with Vita. No magic circles on their old A’s Nanoha and Fate figures, so we shall see.

Makes me wonder about Alter’s future Hayate figure. Perhaps regular Hayate and Unison form Hayate? One can only hope. I should have Movic’s Teana figure soon, so I guess I can turn my wishes towards a good Signum figure or either Caro or Ginga. I would place bets on Signum actually getting done though.

It is times like these are when the saying, “Buy now, regret later,” comes into full effect. All you need to know: Out in August, retailing for about 7,000 yen each (Hobby Stock is listing them at 5,855 yen). I will be having a happy birthday come August this year. :D

  1. Buy now, regret later

In some cases, it’s ‘If I don’t it, I’ll regret it later’ and ‘Buy now, enjoy happily ever after.’ :)

  2. “Buy now, regret later” lol
    Well said.

Tough call but I have to go with Unison. I just find her more appealing in white compared to red. The sacrifice, getting Gigantform over Zerstörungform. Zerstörungform has always been my favourite head configuration.

  3. Tough call indeed! I’ve always said that I’d buy a Vita figure the moment one comes out, but now the problem is choosing which Vita to buy! I’m leaning towards the usual Vita, though Unison Vita is just so tempting.

  4. Man, knowing you you’re getting both. This means i have to watch Stikers now so i can have an honest reason to want her… They both look so damn awesome and i know if i have the funds at the time i’ll get both as well. It just makes sense in my head to get both. Other than the similar pose, to me they are two completely different figures, and they are both equally amazing in their own right!

  5. another thing, i’m eager to see her base as well. she better be screwed into it, or she’ll be a leaner for sure. The one figure of mine that is the worst leaner is by Alter so i’m worried about how they are going to hold her up…

  6. I like the original Vita, every time I glance or look at the unison Vita, I get reminded or Sora’s {Kingdom Hearts II} final form…the only similar thing is the color scheme so I don’t really know why I get remeinded of it… -_- But there’s no denying that both look so awesome! ^_^

  7. @Zyl: I think both of those will apply for the dual Vitas
@Optical & Hemisphere: I lean more towards standard Vita over Unison mainly because of her eyes. Back in A’s when Hayate was in Unison with Reinforce, the pale hair and electric blue eyes never appealed to me much. :/ Looks better with Vita and Signum, but I still prefer the original look.
@DQ: Come August and September, if I complain at all about being broke, send me the URL for this post.
@53rg10: You know, I never thought about that! Vita is infinitely cooler though. :D
