Good Smile Company is bringing out a pretty nice 1/8 Pastel Ink figure next March for retail price around 8,800 yen, which will translate to around 8,799 yen with HLJ (if you exclude their amazing save 5% “if you preorder before X date” deal). _|-|O… Hobby Stock is listing it for 6,776 yen. Good Smile Company have been pretty darn impressive lately with the last 2 figures I purchased from them (Manabi and Alicia), and Ink looks pretty good so far. Personally, I would have wanted a seifuku Ink from any of the big 3, but I’m not complaining. The base looks really nice and having Ark there was an nice addition. However, the price turns me off. We’ll see how things go because March is still a long ways away.
The ridiculous increase in figure prices continues. No orders this month for me because of the stupidly high prices. Ended up dropping both figures I had pre-order, not because I couldn’t justify the price, but there were just other things I would rather put my money towards. I am eyeballing a certain Nanatsurio Drops figure now though… 
It’s been awhile since an announced figure has really made me excited. I was pretty psyched about GSC announcing their Corti figure, but I’m one of the few and proud fans of Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica. Other than that, there hasn’t been too much for me personally to get excited over (except for perhaps meido Tama-nee).
@Marshall: Polyphonica was far from great. Even though I enjoyed it, the negatives were abundant and obvious–poor animation, terrible pacing, lack of story, underdeveloped characters, sub par voice work from a veteran cast, etc etc etc. I haven’t watched the last few episodes subbed yet (watched the raws months ago), but I will when I have more time.
I I think the GSC Ink looks much nicer than the Kotobukiya’s version, but that 8,800 yen price tag is pretty steep. But with a base that nice it makes allot of sense.
And man I really, really like that Corticarte figure, but alas I have not seen a single ep. of Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica. I would feel kind of strange buying it without seeing anything about the anime. But it is an amazing looking figure, maybe I should watch the anime to justify my reasons for buying it haha!
