26 episodes.
That alone right there already makes this series my must watch for the spring season. There will probably be a couple others (Hayate the Combat Bulter for sure), but as of now, Nanoha takes the taco. As for the third season (StrikerS), things are only getting better. The story takes place 10 years after the second season (A’s) and 4 years after the epilogue in episode 13 of A’s. What does that mean exactly?
Nanoha/Fate/Hayate with tits.

Fearing the penal code no longer!
I need a fap break. BRB.

Ahh! Refreshing.
My part-time membership card with the lolicon camp is going to have to go back into my wallet because Nanoha and Co. are now 19. All I had to go on before was the short epilogue from the last episode of A’s (they were 15). Despite the short glimpse, Nanoha/Fate/Hayate (and Arisa and Suzuka too) with tits with probably just as good a Sakura (Card Captor Sakura) with tits (Tsubasa Chronicle). My harem might have to have to change and I need a new loli character in there.
My adoration for Fate doesn’t change though. Speaking of Fate, she is now officially a MILF (or shotacon perhaps?) because she is in care of one of the new characters in StrikerS.
I love Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha. But not as much as this person. O_o
The other new info other than the series length were the new seiyuus voicing the new characters. I have barely looked into the new loli characters mainly beacuse I’ve been oogling over Fate and Nanoha and Hayate, but the new cast looks to be a promising one. Joining the already veteran team of Tamura Yukari, Mizuki Nana, and Ueda Kana, are Saito Chiwa, Nakahara Mai, Takahashi Mikako, Kigawa Eriko, Inoue Marina, and Yukana. I’m a little disappointed Kobayashi Sanae (Lucy/Nyu in Elfen Lied) is not voicing Reinforce II because she is an excellent seiyuu. But Yukana is a downright amazing seiyuu in her own right (Meiling in CCS, C.C. in Code Geass, Tessa in Full Metal Panic, Dominura in Simoun, Mashiro in Mai HiME/Otome). In terms of the rest, Saito Chiwa, Takahasi Mikako, Inoue Marina, and Nakahara Mai are all spectacular in their own right. Nakahara Mai especially, who can do pretty much any role. As for Chrono. The godlike Sugita Tomokazu, who has been in everything GOOD since 2005, will be revising his role from A’s epilogue. If that bitch Chrono touches my Fate, he’ll answer to me. This make Scott mad… VERY MAD.
The only thing that concerns me about this new season would be the overload of characters. Here is the main image that has been sitting on Nanoha.com for ages now:

Was Hayate always that hot?
Excluding Reinforce II, that’s 4 new characters. That image doesn’t even include Signum, Shamel, Vita, Zafira, Arf, Yuuno, Chrono, Lindy, or Amy (and also Suzuka and Arisa). Not including Reinforce II, that totals to 16 (18 if you include Suzuka and Arisa). That’s a lot of characters. Even if we drop partners and support, that’s 7 main characters. Eeps! I guess with 26 episodes, there will be plenty of time to flesh them out. Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha has always had a very good balance of character/story development and action/battles, so I shouldn’t worry too much. After 2 seasons of 13 episodes, I feel like I know the originating cast well, so I shouldn’t be too concerned.
I guess my gripe is with the fact that more characters means LESS Fate screen time. T__T So the first season really revolved around her and Nanoha. The world should revolve around Fate. Period.
StrikerS begins airing the first week of April. Only 2 months away!
Now for a brief fanservice break.

Giving Shamal and Signum some well-deserved attention.
As I am well aware of, no one who reads this blog is familiar with Mahou Shoujo (Magical Girl) Lyrical Nanoha except for Johny. The series can be crudely described as shounen masked as mahou shoujo. More accurately, it’s shounen without the tedious shounen characteristics.
Ugh? I present to you an image that answers all questions:

Brilliant! It takes all the useless crap out of the shounen genre and puts in the neccessities from the mahou shoujo genre, throws in a few ENGLISH voice actors/actresses, and adds a wonderfully generous helping of Mizuki Nana and Tamura Yukari vocals.
Imagine Bleach if it didn’t have all that mindless battling crap. Image Bleach if fights didn’t span 4 episodes. Imagine Sailor moon without an endless transformation sequence in each episode (Stars, I’m looking at YOU!). Image Sailor moon without the chessy plotline. Mesh it all together, throw in some sci-fi and there you go.
Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha.
Now do you get why this is one of my favorite series all-time? Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
