RE4 Premium Edition for the PS2

DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT!

$50+ on eBay and Amazon?!! Less than 2 months ago I was at my local EB Games holding this stupid game… It was $34.99 used (plus an additional 10% off with my card) and it had everything but the Ada cel. -_- I actually carried the game around with me for awhile, but instead I bought a used copy of Capcom Fighting Evolution (which is one of the

Now that my Final Fantasy XII tin collector’s edition case is sitting on my shelf, I thought to myself, “maybe I should go hunt down that Premium Edition Resident Evil 4 for PS2.” I have the original GameCube version, which I freakin’ adore, but the PS2 version (regular or premium) has additional content, such as extra scenes with Ada, new areas not in the GameCube version, more Ada stuff, and new enemies. Resident Evil 4 is easily one of my all-time favorite games, so I figured I’d splurg on the Premium Edition…

DAMNIT!
DAMNIT!
DAMNIT!!!!

The $50 price tag isn’t really the annoyance (considering that this went for $60-65 a year ago), it’s the fact that I was holding the game IN MY HANDS back in early or mid September. -_- Would I drop $50 on this? Considering that I dropped $60 on the FFXII collector’s edition and would probably drop $70 on the collector’s edition Halo 3 (which was announced today) even though I don’t yet own a 360, $50 on Resident Evil 4’s tin isn’t bad… Too bad I don’t get paid until Friday. ::weeps::

I have the phone number to every EB Games, Gamestop, Gamecrazy, and Dimple Records in the Sacramento area, so tomorrow during my break and lunch, I’ll be calling around. If any of the EB’s or Gamestops have it, it has to be at $34.99.

Did I ever mention that I hate the fall and winter video game release periods?
